I am searching for trivial pursuit genus VI. I see a purple box and a red box both with a 6. Is there a diff?

I am searching for the Genus VI. All the boxes that say Genus VI are located in New Zealand. Is this the game I am looking for. I can find the 6th edition here but the box doesn’t state that it is the "genus". This is a gift and I am I was told to buy the "genus". Which one do I get?
The purple box (Genus VI) edition is an NZ edition of the game. The questions are specific to New Zealand, and unless the gift requester is from that area of the world, it’s unlikely that that’s what they’re asking for.
The red box (Version 6) is the newest release of the standard Trivial Pursuit line. Keep in mind that Parker Bros/Hasbro has been inconsistent in the naming of the game line. The series is Trivial Pursuit, TP Version II, TP Genus III – V, and now TP Version 6.
I’d go with the red box version, unless the person you’re buying for has a reason to be looking for a New Zealand focused version of the game.
